A Blessed 31st amid the COVID-19 Pandemic

For the very first time, I posted all my previous wedding anniversary blogs daily in fb as a prelude to this year’s 31st celebration. I’m proud to have completed the six-day countdown. You may click any or each of the links below for a throwback. Stories from the Cupboard: Vegetable Pastel (2012) L'amour @ 24 (2013) The Best of Billy and Eve at 25 (2014) Thank You for Rejoicing with Us (2016) The Changing Colours of Autumn (2018) Trekking Thirty (2019) Apologies to my fb friends who might have been bombarded with these old blog posts for several days now. My thanks to all who already reacted and greeted us in advance by writing their comments. But special thanks to all who took time to click the link and read my posts. Your very precious click has certainly spelled magic by adding to the views which I monitor closely in my blogger dashboard (as all other bloggers do)! That meant you are helping me grow my blog. Oh, how I enjoy keeping track of all reactions

Bacon-asparagus Wraps

One day, a friend sent me a video recipe of Asparagus Roll-ups. Hmmmm... it really looked yummy! I confess it made me crave for another asparagus recipe I have tried before which my kids loved- - - Bacon-Asparagus Wraps!

Crocheted Clothes Hanger Cover

Love at first sight, it was again for me, the moment I saw the  crocheted clothes hanger cover  by Naztazia. Even in my sleep, I kept seeing the colorful hanger covers she made with  kanzashi  flowers as embellishment.

Campuestohan Highland Resort: A Summer Get Away

A long overdue prequel to my post, The Ruins of Talisay .

Ensaladang Ampalaya (Bitter Melon Salad)

When the Enhanced Community Quarantine (ECQ) took effect in March this year in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, we were made to implement a skeleton schedule for a month. That caused most of us to report to work at least twice a week and work from home for the remaining days. Hubby was fortunate to arrive home from work before a lockdown was imposed in our region. That meant he would be home the whole time... and that also meant I had to prepare fish and veggie meals while he’s home.

Crash Landing on Zurich after 6 Years

My Kalayaan Residence Hall (KRH) Story

Tired from work, kitchendome activities, etcetera, etcetera, I kept postponing my plan to make this post. However, Odette Padilla’s request for THEN and NOW photos with info, the kick-off video she posted, the chat group exchanges becoming longer, reply messages of Nini and other active KRH chat group members' reactions to all queries on upcoming reunion events aroused the desire that has been lying dormant for a year.  And so finally, here it is. Oh my, exactly a week to go! I better hurry!
